Wireframes

A wireframe is to provide a detailed specification for the design. They are most useful when reaching a decision point for the design direction.

Wireframes are often the most important part of any design process.

The intent of a wireframe is to provide a specification for the design. A good wireframe can make the difference between and good and a poor implementation.

Personally, I’m a fan of rapid iteration and therefore the creation of detailed designs tends to be more fitting when reaching a decision point for the design direction.
